Leading Professional Negligence Silk, used to head the Professional Conduct Committee for the Bar and is a welcome common law addition to the QBD. From 4NS, had been their Head of Chambers, successor to Stuart-Smith J in fact.

That is a photo of Wilkie J in High Court Judge robes!
ReplyDeleteWilkie J is the one on the left. Gilbart J on the right.
ReplyDeleteNot so I am afraid. The two JJ in the photo are Wilkie J and Hickinbottom J, both wearing HCJ robes. Gilbart sat facing them wearing the Recorder's robes, which are not those shown. I was present, and can say with some force (and his authority) that he is not shown in your photograph
DeleteWhy is Wilkie J wearing a Grey hood?
ReplyDeleteNow we are making progress. The cartoon is indeed of Gilbart, albeit in court rather than ceremonial Recorder's robes. Note that he is wearing a black tippet- not what an HCJ wears
ReplyDeleteGood - but what about Wilkie J's grey mantle?
ReplyDeleteThe quickest way to get someone out of jail is to post bail. This is a bond, cash, or piece of property that the arrested person gives to the court as collateral in order to ensure that they will show up in court for their scheduled date. If they don’t show up, the court keeps the bail money and then issues a warrant for the defendant’s arrest. If you are needing A Bail bond agent in Crestview then you can call upon Bail Bonds in Crestview as they are 24*7 available for their clients.
